Labakcare Organization is a non-profit organization whose mission it is to improve the health of underserved communities by providing no cost preventive health care services. Most of the local health fairs take place in the Philadelphia, South Jersey, and Delaware areas while international medical missions take place in Nigeria and Haiti.

 

We are looking to hire a community outreach coordinator. This is a 6-month contractor/part-time position without any benefits. With at least 12 hours per week, this position is available immediately, through September 2022.The duties and skills for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Leading volunteer recruitment and engagement efforts for medical missions

• Communicating with various community partners to establish and maintain partnerships

• Organizing and evaluating the success of outreach events

• Documentation skills to ensure activities align with grantor goals and objectives

• Developing educational presentations for various audiences

• Implement and oversee social media marketing to promote outreaches and expand LabakCare’s partnerships

 

Compensation for the position is between $18-$22/hr. depending on experience. Travel to and from outreach events will be compensated. Individual must have a car and experience driving, as this position warrants frequent local travel.

 

This position will report directly to the CEO and founder of LabakCare Organization.
